People Problems

In 2019/2020, Facebook hired 40.000 people. Imagine how many folks you need to interview in order to hire 40k people. This massive increase in scale led to a series of problems:

  • Too many interview requests for some interviewers. 
  • Not enough interview requests for others.
  • Late response to interview requests.
  • Candidate frustration about last-minute interview changes.
