Redefining Search

Overview

Designed all search for the global relaunch of BMW’s desktop site.

This was part of an agency contract — Interone/BBDO brought me on.

Worked directly at BMW HQ in Munich, Germany in close collaboration with business partners from BMW team.

Outcome:

Product shipped, and the search I designed is still being used.

There wasn’t a whole lot of UX research or design process happening on this project. There wasn’t any time or budget. We relied on heuristics and industry best practies.
